Hamlets are unincorporated communities within the boundaries of a municipality. They consist of five or more dwellings (a majority of which are on parcels of land that are smaller than 1,850 m²), have a generally accepted boundary and name, and contain parcels of land used for non-residential purposes. 'Subdivision' means the division of a lot, tract, or parcel of land into two or more lots, sites, or other divisions of land for the purpose, whether immediate or future, of sale or of building development. It includes resubdivision and, when appropriate to the context, relates to the process of subdividing or to the land or territory subdivided. If it is used for housing it is typically known as a housing subdivision or housing development, although some developers tend to call these areas communities. Please use the pull-down menu below to find the map of the subdivision you are looking for.
