Glory Hills Playground Replacement Project

Glory Hills Playground Replacement Project

Project Overview

In the summer of 2020, Sturgeon County removed the existing play equipment from the Glory Hills Park. The old equipment had become unsafe and needed replacement.

Due to an administrative oversight and ongoing issues surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the County did not inform citizens of the removal of this equipment. This was a mistake.

While the equipment should not have been removed without consulting the community, it had become a safety issue and needed to be replaced. We asked residents for their thoughts and ideas on this important community space and are pleased to be moving forward with the installation of new equipment.
