Canada Summer Job Grant

Sturgeon County will be submitting an application for five temporary positions to the Canada Summer Job Grant, a program that provides funding for people between 15 and 30 years. The positions are a Research Support Officer, Finance Clerk, Economic Development Summer Student, Digital Communications Assistant, and an Information Services Summer Student. The County’s portion will be  $51,684.75, funded from reserves.

Borrowing Bylaws for Road Construction Projects

The bylaws will come back before Council to consider second and third reading at a future Council Meeting.
