Project Description

Rehabilitation of the asphalt surface within the Cameron Park subdivision including the removal of the existing road surface, application of a new gravel base and a new asphalt road surface.

Impact to Residents

Residents can anticipate traffic disruptions during construction. One lane of traffic will be maintained during construction, but short-term full road closures may be required. In case of a road closure, or if access to a property will be impeded, affected residents will be notified in advance.

Project Status
  • October 2, 2019 – Landscaping (seeding) ongoing.
  • September 4, 2019 – Paving complete, remaining items include mailbox adjustments, road side-slope shaping, landscaping, topsoil placement and seeding.
  • August 28, 2019 – Paving underway, second lift of asphalt being placed.  Landscape restorations to follow.
  • August 21, 2019 - Gravel base completed, paving anticipated end of August (weather dependent). Landscape restorations to follow.
  • August 7, 2019 - Construction ongoing. October completion weather dependent
  • July 24, 2019 - Construction has started and should be completed by mid October.
  • July 10, 2019 - Preparing to start construction July 15 (weather dependent)
  • July 4, 2019 - Public Information Session held at Namao Hall
  • June 28, 2019 – Resident notification letter sent to residents
  • June 25, 2019 - Design complete, tender awarded (Council meeting)
Project Timeline
Construction anticipated to start July 15 (weather dependent) and should be completed October 2019.
