Project Description

Road work - rehabilitation of the asphalt surface within the Glenview Acres subdivision as well as along Rge Rd 245 from 195th Ave to Glenview Place including the removal of the existing road surface, application of a new gravel base and a new asphalt road surface.

Impact to Residents

Residents can anticipate traffic disruptions during construction. One lane of traffic will be maintained during construction, but short-term full road closures may be required. In case of a road closure, or if access to a property will be impeded, affected residents will be notified in advance. More details will be provided closer to the construction start date.

Project Status
  • October 2, 2019 – Contrator mobilized and basework underway.
  • September 4, 2019 – Drainage investigations being completed, minor ditching to improve roadside ditch drainage to be completed. Contractor to mobilize onsite Sept 4-7, road pulverizing anticipated to begin September 7, 2019 weather dependant.
  • August 21, 2019 - Construction anticipated to start in September (weather dependent). Resident Construction Notifications will be delivered one week prior to construction.
  • July 24, 2019 - Resident construction notification letters hand-delivered
  • July 10, 2019 - Construction to start late September (weather dependent)
  • July 4, 2019 - A public information session held at Namao Hall, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • June 25, 2019 – Design complete, Tender awarded by Council
Project Timeline
Construction anticipated to start in late September (weather dependent) and should be completed by late October.
