Sturgeon County is currently looking to hire a contracted Gate Keeper for Cardiff Park.

Sturgeon County is currently looking to hire a contracted Gate Keeper for Cardiff Park.

Responsibilities of the Gate Keeper include:

  1. Opening the gates (north & south entrance) at 5 a.m.
  2. Closing the gates 30 minutes after sunset.
  3. Ensuring all public users are out of the park prior to closing
    the gates.
  4. Reporting any vandalism or damages to proper authorities.

The above listed responsibilities are to be performed 365 days per year. The gate keeper will be responsible for making arrangements for coverage to fulfill the contract requirements year-round.

All resources required to perform the contract responsibilities, including those associated with travel to and from Cardiff Park, are the responsibility of the contract holder.

The contract will be awarded to the successful bidder for a one-year term and will include the option to extend its terms for two additional years at the same proposed monthly cost.

Public Hearing Notices are advertised locally in the Morinville Free Press and Redwater Review for two consecutive weeks immediately prior to the Public Hearing.
