Combined Property Assessment & Taxation Notice

Sturgeon County Combined Property Assessment and Taxation Notices were mailed May 19, 2022.

Alberta Land Titles is experiencing processing delays so if you have not received your notice, please contact the County.
 

Assessment & Assessment Complaint Information.
To view an electronic copy of the 2021 Assessment for Sturgeon County used for 2022 Property Taxation please visit sturgeoncounty.ca/propertyviewer.
 For more information about your property assessment or before filing a complaint, contact Assessment Services at 780-939-0601.
More information regarding filing an assessment complaint can be found on the Sturgeon County website, (The Assessment Review Board Complaint form) or at municipalaffairs.alberta.ca (Filing a Property Assessment Complaint).


A complaint must be made by July 26, 2022.

Sturgeon County tax payments are due by June 30.
Payments must be received by Sturgeon County or postmarked before the end of business, 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022, to avoid penalty fees on the current tax amount even if a complaint is filed. For payment options, please refer to the tax insert, the back of the tax notice or our website at sturgeoncounty.ca/tax.

Public Hearing Notices are advertised locally in the Morinville Free Press and Redwater Review for two consecutive weeks immediately prior to the Public Hearing.
