The Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board is developing a Regional Agriculture Master Plan (RAMP) that is expected to impact future planning of local agriculture. A new survey is available to get your feedback on the development of regional land-use policies and online discussions called Roundtables are being planned for early June.


Sturgeon County Council confirms 0% municipal tax rate increase for 2021; also provides option for June 30 tax payment deadline

Tax Payment deadline can be extended for those impacted by COVID-19

There will be no increase to municipal property tax rates in Sturgeon County this year. 

At their April 13 meeting, Sturgeon County Council passed the Taxation Rates Bylaw, officially confirming the zero per cent (0%) tax increase first proposed in Budget 2021.
