“What Was Said”

The Town of Morinville approved a business case for the construction of a Community Recreation Facility. Construction of Phase One, which includes an arena and fieldhouse, has begun. Sturgeon County Council needs to make decisions about their investment and support for this facility. Prior to making any further decision Council and Administration undertook a full public engagement strategy to gather public input regarding the Community Recreation Facility Investment.

Between June 6 and July 5, Sturgeon County engaged with residents about possible investment approaches in the Community Recreation Facility. We presented information for residents to consider and discuss to gain as many perspectives as possible from across the County regardless of where you live and what your recreation choices are.
