Public Hearing - Bylaw 1551/21

Amendment to the Land Use Bylaw 1385/17

In accordance with section 606 of the Municipal Government Act, Sturgeon County Council is requesting public input on Bylaw 1551/21.
This Bylaw proposes to amend the zoning of Lot 1; Plan 992 5589 from
AG – Agricultural district to DC20 – Direct Control District 20 that would allow for a limited number of industrial uses including contractor service (major), surveillance suite, outdoor storage, and accessory buildings and uses thereof.

The Public Hearing will take place:
Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. (or as soon as practical thereafter) at
Sturgeon County Council Chambers, 9613 – 100 Street, Morinville, Alberta

The Public Hearing will also be livestreamed

All interested parties are encouraged to express their views by providing a written submission or registering to speak by contacting Legislative Services via email at or at 780-939-8279 or 780-939-8277.

Council Chambers will be open to the public for those wishing to speak at the Public Hearing. Speakers will be given a 5-minute time limit.
