The Sturgeon County Youth Council (SCYC) provides leadership opportunities and activities for youth 12 to 19-years-old in the community. 

The group meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the first Monday of each month, from October to June, at the Sturgeon County FCSS Office (9608 100 Street, Morinville). There are also events planned once a month for social/volunteer activities outside of regular meetings.

Job Experience Training (JET) Program 

Sturgeon County residents aged 12 - 17 are invited to apply to the Job Experience Training Program (J.E.T.). Teenagers will go through the interview process, gain work experience, develop leadership skills, and receive a reference letter all by volunteering with Sturgeon County's summer programs.
