Sturgeon Youth

Sturgeon Youth Council

The Sturgeon Youth Council is an amazing team that provides leadership opportunities and youth activities to the community. A member of Sturgeon Youth Council, you will attend youth forums, develop leadership skills at seminars and retreats, plan activities for your peers, plan the annual youth conference, volunteer with the food bank, and more!

JET - Job Experience Training

Over the past 25 years, Sturgeon County has offered JET, a job training program that will help gain credits towards your high school evaluation, experience a job interview, gain hands-on work experience, and meet new friends. More than 27 program participants have gone on to paid positions with Sturgeon County, partly due to the experience they gained in the JET program.
