Glenview Acres:
This summer, work will begin on drainage improvements in the Glenview area. Residents may notice survey activities and inspections in the areas. The project involves assessing the existing wetlands and constructing a drainage ditch along Rge Rd 245 north to Cutbank lake to provide the wetlands with a location to overflow. The design is not yet complete as we assess the feasibility of options in creating the drainage outlet to Cutbank Lake.
The improvements will reduce the risk of flooding to residential property and infrastructure. The County has hired WSP as the consulting engineer for this project.
