The existing paved roadway on the Southern portion of Starkey Road, and Range Road 244 from Highway 37 to CFB Edmonton will be rehabilitated using a technique known as Mill and Fill. As the name infers, this is where the existing roadways are first milled and then subsequently repaved to replace the asphalt which was milled away. Construction is planned to commence in 2022.
