This two-day-a-week, session-based play program uses free-play, center-play, games, stories, crafts, and songs to stimulate children’s early development. Children will learn the concepts of letter and number recognition. This is an excellent program to assist children in developing independence and socialization skills needed for entering a school environment. Children must be old enough to enter Kindergarten the following year.
Note: If your child is not yet 4, but is entering Kindergarten the following year and would like to attend our ABC-123 program, please call our office at 780-939-8334 for assistance.

How do I register?
You will need an account to register for Sturgeon County Programs. If you are a new user, you’ll be asked to input names, addresses, phone numbers for the members of your family you’d like to register.
- Click “Family & Community Support Services”
- Choose Adult Programs or Child and Youth Programs
- Find your program, and then click “Register”
- If it is a paid program, you’ll then be directed to input your payment information
