Application: Youth Advisory Committee

We’re looking for Sturgeon County youth who will advise Council on issues related to youth in our community.

The Youth Advisory Committee will play an important role in research and provide input into policy proposals, programs, and services. The Committee works with County Administration to discuss matters important to youth and establish partnerships to ensure that different perspectives are reflected in the Committee’s initiatives.

Committee meeting dates and times are established by the Committee, and members are paid for their time at meetings.

Serving on the Committee is a great way to learn more about the community and the role of boards and committees in supporting Council. Committee experience is also an impressive addition to your resume and can help expand your network.
