Budget 2023

Budget Survey: Report to the Community

In 2022, Sturgeon County will invest more than $130 million towards better roads, future growth, and a safer, healthier .

As we plan the 2023 Capital and Operating , Council must balance the immediate needs of residents and the need for long-term financial sustainability. We must also consider any new challenges like inflation and provincial downloading of costs.

To better understand resident needs, we are asking residents to let us know what matters most. You can take part in upcoming surveys, connect with us, or speak to your Division Councillor.

The first survey about the Sturgeon County budget ran from May 19 to August 1, 2022, and had 134 respondents. Residents ranked County services as very important or not at all important using a scale of one to five.
