Canada Post Service Disruption

During the Canada Post labour disruption, some Sturgeon County services may be affected.

Some options are outlined below.

Utility Bills – November bills available December 3. Payment due date is December 31, 2024.

Utility and Waste Management Services customers who receive paper utility bills by regular mail may or may not be affected depending on the duration of the labour dispute. Despite the Canada Post labour dispute, Utility accounts must still be settled by the due date of December 31, 2024.

Utility customers already enrolled in e-billing will receive their invoice as they normally do via email. Utility customers signed up for pre-authorized debit do not need to take any action. November utility bills will be available on December 3, with the regular due date due of December 31, 2024.

Sign up for e-billing now!

It is not too late to sign up for e-billing for the November bill.

To ensure you don’t miss your utility bill, Sturgeon County offers electronic billing (e-billing) for utility account holders. The service is free, convenient, and easy to sign up. Submit the online application form and look for a confirmation email from us. Once you have signed up, you will receive an email with your utility invoice attached once it has been generated. E-bills will arrive in your inbox every month.
