Sturgeon County is ready to welcome visitors to County Bounty 2026 on Saturday, August 8. The free, family-friendly event takes place from 12-8 pm at Cardiff Park.
Due to recent rainfall, parts of Cardiff Park are extremely soft and fragile. To protect the park and the ecosystems it supports, organizers have reduced the footprint of the event, leading to the cancellation of the much-loved Firefighter Olympics and a few other activities, and limiting onsite parking. However, the event still features many family favorites, including:
- The Select Engineering Kid’s Zone, featuring games and inflatables
- The NWR Pourhouse and Canteen, featuring food trucks
- Whitson Construction Main Stage featuring live, local entertainment
- The Bounty Market Walk, sponsored by Sturgeon Valley Fertilizer
- Petting zoo and pony rides
- Teepee Teachings
- Blue Ribbon Fair
- Face painting and glitter tattoos
- Meet Jessie and Woody from Toy Story
- And much, much more!
To make the day as enjoyable as possible, visitors are encouraged to:
- Dress for the weather! Bring multiple layers for best protection.
- Carpool or prepare to take a shuttle. Buses will pick up visitors from the various lots around Cardiff Park. There’s also overflow parking at the Sturgeon Agriplex and a shuttle will bring visitors to the park grounds.
- Bring a cash donation for your local food banks. There will be an ATM onsite.
- Leave your pets at home. No dogs (except qualified service dogs, with ID) will be allowed on site. Fido is safest at home!
