Sturgeon County invites residents’ input into the potential actions and initiatives developed for the Agriculture Master Plan.
Earlier this year, residents were asked to share their ideas and thoughts about the state of agriculture in Sturgeon County. That public feedback was used to identify themes, priorities, and potential actions for the draft master plan.
Now, Sturgeon County is asking the public, “Did we get it right?”.
Residents are invited to take a short, 10-minute survey to tell us how we did. The survey is open until July 31, 2024. The feedback gathered from this survey will be considered when refining the final themes, actions, and initiatives for the master plan.
Take the Agriculture Master Plan Survey.
The Agriculture Master Plan (AMP) is a strategic roadmap to guide agriculture-related initiatives for the next 10 years. This includes potential municipal policies and bylaws, possible changes to how transportation routes and roads are managed and maintained, and educational initiatives to help agricultural producers enhance their operations.
Details about Sturgeon County public engagement activities are listed online at SturgeonCounty.ca under the Government and Engagement Tab.
