Culture Days 2026: Explore Local History & Scenic Beauty

Join us for a unique cultural experience featuring history, architecture, and the outdoors!

Begin your day with a guided tour of the Namao Museum, where you’ll explore the rich stories and heritage of the area.

From there, hop on a County bus (or drive yourself) to the beautiful Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Lamoureux. This historic 19th-century French-Canadian church showcases stunning ecclesiastical architecture, designed by Montreal architect Monsieur Venne. Its design reflects the classic French-Canadian parish style associated with renowned architect Thomas Baillairgé.
We’ll wrap up the day with a leisurely walk along the Lamoureux trail, taking in breathtaking river valley views. At the end of the tour, enjoy a visit to a local food truck and take in the incredible scenery—with optional photo tips from Tim Osborne to help you capture the perfect shot.
