Producers! Did you know you can get funding through the Sustainable CAP program by completing your environmental farm plan? The Environmental Farm Plan provides landowners the opportunity to assess their strengths and areas of improvement within their farming operations. This insightful tool promotes sustainable farming practices and outlines how to address, mitigate, and compensate for any environmental concerns through best management practices (BMPs).
Sturgeon County is hosting a one-day session for producers who want to create, or renew, an Environmental Farm Plan. Please bring your laptop or tablet to work on. Sign up by Feb. 12 for this free workshop.
