Mental Health First Aid: Supporting Older Adults

Join us for evidence-based training by the Mental Health Commission of Canada. This course is designed for people who have frequent contact with older adults such as family members, friends, community health workers, and volunteers.
Learn to recognize and effectively respond to an emerging mental health problem in older adults.
✅ Recognize symptoms as they develop
✅ Provide initial help when dealing with a mental health problem or crisis
✅ Guide a senior and/or caregiver toward appropriate professional help
✅ Provide strategies and resources to support both seniors and their caregivers
