To recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Sturgeon County is inviting residents, visitors and staff to participate in Learn, Listen, Act.
From September 16 to October 1, visit County Centre to explore Indigenous-authored books, educational materials, reflection questions and resources that encourage self-guided learning about Indigenous histories, experiences and reconciliation.
Learning materials and reflection activities are also available online. Participants can share what they learned, identify a personal commitment to reconciliation, and provide feedback about future community learning opportunities.
