Parenting Teens Through Tough Times
This workshop teaches parents and caregivers how to respond to disclosures of heavy experiences like self-harm, suicidal thoughts, or substance use. It covers topics like how brain development impacts stress, how to respond to disclosures, trauma informed care at home, and basics of coping. This informational workshop is not intended to be a support group. Referrals can be made for support

How do I register?
You will need an account to register for Sturgeon County Programs. If you are a new user, you’ll be asked to input names, addresses, phone numbers for the members of your family you’d like to register.
- Click “Family & Community Support Services”
- Choose Adult Programs or Child and Youth Programs
- Find your program, and then click “Register”
- If it is a paid program, you’ll then be directed to input your payment information
