This week recognizes distinct traditions, rights, culture, and knowledge, that have been an integral part of the fabric of Sturgeon County. November 16 holds special significance as Louis Riel Day, a day to honour the legacy and sacrifice of the Right Honourable Louis Riel in his unwavering fight for Métis
rights.
