This would only be obtained when individuals voluntary supply personal information through an online form or by setting up a user account through Sturgeon Services.

When you visit sturgeoncounty.ca, Sturgeon County’s web server automatically collects a limited amount of standard information essential to the operation and evaluation of the County’s website.

This information may include:

This information is not used to identify individuals who visit the County’s website. This information is used to help us make our site more useful to visitors, to learn which pages are most popular and about the number of visitors to our site. The County does not track or record information about individuals and their visits.

Information collected through feedback forms, online service requests or user account for Sturgeon Services

The personal information you submit through the County’s Customer Feedback Forms, Online Service Requests or user accounts for Sturgeon Services – including email address and contact information – is collected by the County solely for the purpose of responding to the information provided or service request.

This information is not disclosed except to authorized personnel (County staff or Contractors) for the purpose of addressing your feedback/request. Any personal information you submit to the County is secured once it reaches the County’s server. However, the County cannot guarantee the security of your information before it reaches the County’s website.
