Project Highlights
The Program
This program improves the condition of selected gravel roads within the County.
The Scope of Work
- Grading, drying, and compaction of subgrade.
- Full gravel lift.
- Approach and road culvert replacements at selected locations.
- Drainage improvements at selected locations.
- Roadside brushing.
What This Means to You
- Construction crews will be on site for about 7 to 14 days.
- Roads will remain open to traffic during all phases of work with the exception of road culvert replacements. Motorists might experience delays during the project.
- Advanced notice will be given to nearby residents and traffic signage will be in place.
- A number will be provided to residents in case there are questions.

Crews were working on Township Road 540A, east of Range Road 261 this week.

September 18, 2023
Improvements to Township Road 564 (Range Road 252 to Highway 2) and Range Road 260 (Township Road 571 to Highway 651) are in progress.

August 28, 2023
The gravel road repairs on Range Road 213 north of Highway 644 and Range Road 213 north of Township Road 572 are underway. Geocells were added on these sections; they provide the stiffness and creep resistance needed to stabilize roads on soft soils.
