Project Highlights
The playground at Bristol Oaks was identified as a priority for replacement in the ‘Parks Refresh’ public survey conducted in June 2022.
The existing wooden playground equipment had reached the end of its lifecycle and was removed and replaced.
Work was originally scheduled for November 2022, but inclement weather pushed construction to Spring 2023.

Project Historical Information
The new playground meets Canadian Safety Association standards for safety and accessibility. It features a play sand surface and is designed to encourage imaginative play and mobility for children from 18 months to 12 years old and beyond.
This project cost $60,000 and was completed in the summer of 2023.
