2023 – Rge. Rd. 243: north of Hwy 651

Project Highlights

The existing arch culvert will be removed and replaced with a new 29m corrugated steel pipe (CSP) culvert. Construction is expected to be done by October 15, 2023. (Bridge file 72767)

The Scope of Work 

• Land acquisition and various permitting agreements and approvals for new bridge structure.
• Road excavation, removal, and disposal of the existing arch culvert.
• The assembly and installation of a new CSP bridge culvert.
• Rebuilding Rge. Rd. 243 and improving the vertical alignment of the road within the project limits.

What This Means to You

Rge. Rd. 243 could be temporarily closed to traffic during the culvert installation.
