Project Highlights

Rehabilitation of the existing paved road network in Glory Hills and Rol-Anna Park.

The project includes:​

Glory Hills Subdivision​

  • 8 kilometres of road rehabilitation within the subdivision ​
  • The replacement of centreline culverts​
  • Minor ditch repairs​

Rol-Anna Park​

  • 8 kilometres of road rehabilitation within the subdivision ​
  • The replacement of centreline culverts​
  • Minor ditch repairs​

Construction is scheduled to start in early June and be done by the end of September​

What to expect

Construction zone will be limited to one lane, with flaggers on site. In the evenings, the road will be opened back up to two-way traffic.

Work sequence:​

  • Pulverize and widen existing surface​
  • Replace centre line culverts​
  • Place granular base course (GBC)​
  • Spraying GBC with oil tack coat ​
  • Paving surface with hot mix asphalt​
  • General site cleanup​
  • Approaches will be paved up to the property line​

Project Updates

  • November 22, 2022

    The paving is now done. Landscaping and site-cleanup are scheduled for 2023.

  • October 11, 2022

    The paving is complete, and site cleanup is underway.

  • October 3, 2022

    It is expected that the Glory Hills pavement will be done in the first week of October.

  • September 6, 2022

    Glory Hills has 1.5 km of the total 2.3 km paved. Clean up is ongoing. Construction on Rol-Anna is underway and includes .8 km of rehabilitation. The majority of the work is expected to be done by mid-September, with the remaining work done by the end of September.

  • September 6, 2022

    The project should be done in mid-September with the remaining clean-up work scheduled to be done by the end of September.

  • July 11, 2022

    Construction has started, the project should be done in 2022.
