Public Hearing: Bylaw 1721/26 – Off-road Vehicle Track

Sturgeon County Council requests public input on proposed Bylaw 1721/26.

The property owner would like to operate an off-road vehicle track on their land at 57508 Lily Lake Road. This land is zoned as AG-Agriculture, which does not allow this type of activity.

The applicant is requesting the land be rezoned to REC – Recreational District to allow them to apply for a ‘Recreation, outdoor motorized vehicle facility’ development permit.

Each time land is rezoned, a bylaw is needed to amend the Land Use Bylaw, and a public hearing must be held.

Legal land description: SE-31-57-23-4
