It is devastating to wake up to the news that two police officers – Constable Travis Jordan and Constable Brett Ryan – have lost their lives in the line of duty, protecting and serving their community. This is such a horrific and unnecessary tragedy. It is a stark reminder that there are people wearing the uniforms, people with family, friends, and loved ones. To them – and to all who protect and serve – we offer our heartfelt and sincere condolences. They will be remembered.
To honour the service and dedication of these lost officers, the flags at the County office will be lowered to half-mast.
