Please be advised that a Special Council Meeting has been called for Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in Sturgeon County Council Chambers (and available online at https://www.sturgeoncounty.ca/government-engagement/council-meetings/).
This meeting has been called to address the following items:
- Council to receive information and discuss traffic safety concerns in the Heartland area and to consider potential responses and next steps within the County’s authority.
The Municipal Government Act (under section 194) provides Council with the authority to hold a Special Council Meeting if it decides a meeting is necessary.
The Special Council Meeting may be attended in person or virtually.
