Sharpen your skates and get your loved ones to meet you at the Cardiff Park Skating Trail. Embark on a skating adventure as you glide along the 1.1 km meandering trail. Enjoy the crisp winter air and vast Alberta sky as you weave your way through the snow-covered forest. At 4 p.m., lights transform the trail into a sparkling magical winter wonderland.
The trail is suitable for all skill levels and ages. The smaller skating oval is perfect for those who are learning to skate. There are three outdoor skate tie locations with dome shelters to provide a short break from the elements. Regular maintenance is done on the trail, but it is subject to weather conditions.   
Hours
The trail is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The lights are on from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Parking is encouraged in the south parking lot near the baseball diamonds.
Washrooms are available. Please keep in mind that Cardiff Park is gated and closed daily at 11:00 p.m.
