CN has advised Sturgeon County that they have began their Annual Vegetation Management Program in Sturgeon County. If left uncontrolled, weeds and vegetation left on and beside railways can be a safety-hazard if left uncontrolled.
Crews will be applying herbicides on and around the railway tracks.
CN will be sure to observe product requirements for setbacks in the vicinity of dwellings, aquatic environments, and municipal water supplies.
