WANTED: Business Input – Broadband Fibre Network

Published on Aug 30, 2023

Sturgeon County has created a fibre broadband network that services the industrial parks in the southwest portion of Sturgeon County (Phase 1: Heritage Industrial Park, Pro North Industrial Park, and Villeneuve Airport). This network helps to ensure that businesses have access to the level of service they need to operate efficiently, innovate, and be able to provide new or better services to their customers.

The County is considering opportunities for the broadband network and is assessing the need for broadband investment in the Sturgeon Industrial Park and Sturgeon County’s portion of the Alberta Industrial Heartland.

If you own or operate a business in the Sturgeon Industrial Park or County portion of the Heartland, we invite you to complete a brief survey.   It should take 3-5 minutes to complete, get started by visiting surveymonkey.com/r/heartlandbroadband.

Note:  We recommend that someone familiar with your current Internet solution complete the survey.

Additional information on eligibility as well as other opportunities to provide feedback can be found at sturgeoncounty.ca/broadband.
