Embrace all that winter has to offer at Sturgeon County’s Winterfest! Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 22nd, and head to the Sturgeon Agriplex for an afternoon full of FREE indoor and outdoor adventures the whole family will love!
Here’s what’s in store:
Indoors:
- Decorate your own cookies (yum!)
- Warm up with hot dogs & chili
- Meet adorable animals at the petting zoo
- Take a pony ride around the arena!
- Colouring activity for the wee ones
- Visit with Elsa and Olaf characters.
Outdoors:
- Hop on a horse-drawn hayride to the Cardiff Park Skating Trail (fingers crossed for ice – bring your skates just in case!)
- Learn about ice rescue, Alberta wildlife and try snowshoeing
- Warm up with hot chocolate, coffee, maple syrup sticks, and roast s’mores by the fire!
The fun runs from 3 – 8 p.m. at Sturgeon Agriplex, 25021 TWP RD 554, Sturgeon County.
