 The tool is user-friendly, allowing you to search by location or regulation type, and provides clear guidance on the next steps for your project. This is part of our ongoing effort to support local growth and streamline the regulatory process for our community

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I select an area on the map to see more information?

Users can select the different sections of the map one of two ways:

  1. By selecting the blue menu on the top left-hand side. Once open a full list of all the regulated item or area pops up and users can select them to view a detailed page on the regulated item/ area with a breakdown of the regulators and contact information. Simply select the menu again to view a different area, or use the ‘Back to map’ icon to return to the main map view.
  2. By selecting the regulated item or areas name on the map. Once clicked a pop up will appear with a brief description, users can select ‘Click for more information’ to view a detailed page on the regulated item/ area with a breakdown of the regulators and contact information.
How do I zoom in to a section and/or navigate around the map?

To zoom in and out on the map or regulators pages use the magnifying glass icons on the bottom right-hand side of the map.

Once you have zoomed in on the view, use the side-to-side and up-down scroll bars to move around the map.
