Who Can Appeal

Any affected person or applicant can appeal a decision or condition of the approved development permit.

This is a Discretionary/Variance Development Permit; see below for details about who can appeal.

  • The owner/applicant can appeal the development permit decision or condition related to their application.
  • Permitted Use Development Permits can be appealed by the applicant only, unless any person was affected by the decision where the Land Use Bylaw was relaxed, varied or misinterpreted.
  • Discretionary/Variance Development Permits can be appealed by anyone affected by the decision.
