The Protective Services department is committed to community, and to providing Sturgeon County residents, visitors and community partners with an effective emergency and enforcement service through professional response and education.
It has:
- 15 full-time firefighters
- 80+ paid on-call firefighters
- eight peace officers
- one animal control officer
The Sturgeon County Protective Services Building is located at 54509 Range 252. It is home to Enforcement Services, Animal Control, Emergency Services, and the District of Namao Fire Department.
