Meadowview Drive – Landscaping Phase 1

Project Description

Project Scope

Meadowview Drive from Highway 44 to Range Road 263A, and Range Road 261A to the St. Albert boundary was recently reconstructed and paved.

As part of that project, there was an attempt to grow grass from Range Road 261A to Range Road 263A. The results have been inconsistent. To address this, Transportation and Engineering Services, along with Agriculture Services, have inspected the existing grass and developed plans to enhance the landscaping along Meadowview Drive.

Once a contractor is selected, residents will be notified via letter of the next steps. Project progress will also be posted on this page.

The tentative completion date is mid-June 2024.

Landscaping Outside Phase 1

If you have concerns regarding the landscaping along Meadowview Drive outside of the current project area, please call the Transportation & Engineering Department at 780-939-8252 and ask for the Meadowview Drive Project Manager, Khalil Shaikh. Those areas along Meadowview Drive are still covered by the contractor’s warranty and may be eligible for landscaping improvements.
