Project Description
Sturgeon County will be working on Township Road 564. The project will upgrade the existing road to meet the County’s general municipal servicing standards for rural highways, enhancing safety, ride quality, and drainage.
Project scope
This project includes the removal and replacement of the existing road structure from Highway 28 right-of-way to Range Road 231, as well as paving the section of road between the Highway 28 right-of-way and the west entrance to Goose Hummock Golf Course. A total of 2.2 km of roadway will be reconstructed and paved with asphalt. A bridge culvert (BF 00889) on Township Road 564 will also be replaced.
What this means to you
There will be Sturgeon County project personnel, contractor crews, and equipment working in the area. Construction will take place Monday to Saturday between the hours of 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Township Road 564 between Range Road 231 to Highway 28 is closed for bridge construction. Please follow the detour signs.

August 6, 2024: Road closure updateAugust 6, 2024
A one-lane road closure will be necessary, but a detour will not be required. When the bridge is replaced, a full road closure will be needed. The full road closure is expected to begin around August 11, 2024.
