Shelterbelt Workshop

Sturgeon County has been working hard to build the diversity of our trees and shrubs through incorporating native and hardy plant speicies. There are many benefits to this landscaping strategy: aesthetically, economically, and environmentally.

To help you get started, Sturgeon County is hosting a free workshop on Thursday, January 25 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Morinville Rendez-Vous Centre. Industry experts will lead a discussion on planting, establishing, and maintaining a healthy shelterbelt.

Sign up for the workshop with guest speaker, Toso Bozic through Eventbrite.

Sturgeon County offices will be closed Monday, February 19 for Family Day. Offices will re-open Tuesday, February 20 at 8:30 a.m.
