As we celebrate Economic Development Week from May 8-12, 2023, it’s important to highlight the critical role that it plays in Sturgeon County’s success as an internationally competitive and supportive municipality for businesses. Our focus on new growth and innovation has led to a thriving local economy with diverse industries such as aerospace and defence, agriculture, energy, manufacturing, and transportation. In fact, over 2,100 businesses have chosen Sturgeon County as their home.
