Richard Boissonneault is honoured to serve as Councillor for Division 4, bringing lifelong roots in Sturgeon County and a strong dedication to local residents. A proud community advocate and business leader, Richard and his family have called Sturgeon County home for many years, building deep connections and understanding the needs of rural neighbourhoods.
Elected to Council in 2025, Richard’s focus is on strengthening services that matter most to residents — including road safety and maintenance, reliable infrastructure, and efficient delivery of municipal services. He is committed to representing Division 4 with openness, approachability, and practical problem-solving.
Richard’s priorities include:

- Supporting responsible growth and maintaining Sturgeon County’s rural character
- Advocating for fair and effective tax management
- Bringing forward resident feedback to ensure responsive County decisions
