Division Six Councillor Jason Berry

Jason Berry has deep connections to Sturgeon County, with a strong appreciation for the sense of community and the value of supportive neighbours.

First elected in 2021 and recently re-elected, his focus is on protecting residents and their property, advocating for rural crime reduction, and supporting local businesses and agriculture. A key priority is the improvement and maintenance of gravel roads and highways, ensuring safe and reliable transportation for all residents and supporting economic growth in the region.

Councillor Berry is committed to expanding recreation opportunities and championing the continued growth of the Alberta Industrial Heartland to drive economic investment. He believes in the importance of volunteering and giving back, having spent several years involved in community initiatives, including supporting local sports and organizing annual food bank fundraisers.
