A fire ban is in effect for Sturgeon County and the towns of Bon Accord, Legal and Redwater as of May 4,2025

There is a wildfire at Range Road 205 and Victoria Trail near Redwater Provincial Recreation Area in Sturgeon County. Residents are being asked to stand by and be prepared to evacuate.
